Included in the online materials is a demonstration/explanation video link to view before the seminar and to review afterward to consolidate learning. Other electronic materials include a Client Handbook, a handout pack to accompany the weekend, PowerPoint presentations and an audio relaxation recording, journal articles, and OEI forms.

Approximately 75% of the weekend will occur in a small breakout group with a 1:8 trainer-to-trainee ratio. This will ensure that you have opportunities for supervised experience as both “counsellor” and “client”. This is a very “hands-on” training event!

PRESENTER: Rick Bradshaw, PHD RPSYCH

SCHEDULE: Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 9:00 am through 5:00 pm

ADDRESS: 718-744 W. Hastings St., Vancouver. BC

Registration cost will increase by $50 on November 12, 2022

Registrants will be sent links and materials prior to the seminar. Since that constitutes a great deal of intellectual property and the entire content of the weekend, a $200 fee will be retained from the registration payment if a registrant cancels.

About OEI

OEI is a powerful set of procedures that can be integrated with other forms of treatment including body therapies, neurotherapy, gestalt & enactment, cognitive, couples, play, and art therapy. Trainees should either be psychologists, counsellors, social workers, or psychiatrists; or graduate students in those professions. Others with Certified Trauma Specialist (CTS) designations through the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists (ATSS) are also eligible.
