Intensive Weekend Training & Small Group Co-Therapy Skills Practice

For a detailed description of this new trauma therapy, along with the theoretical tenets, techniques, and clinical material with case examples, readers are referred to a foundational journal article on OEI:

Bradshaw, R. A., Cook, A., McDonald, M. J. (2011).  Observed & experiential integration (OEI): Discovery and development of a new set of trauma therapy techniques. Journal of Psychotherapy Integration, 21(2), 104-171.

OEI is useful for resolving and processing psychological trauma and dissociation. More than 75% of the weekend is spent in small groups (1:8 trainer/trainee ratio), receiving hands-on instruction and skills practice. The seminar fee includes refreshment breaks both days, an electronic copy of the Client Handbook, and digital handouts, presentations, forms, articles, and videos. Lunch is not provided either day, but there are local restaurants and there is a small fridge on site for those bringing their own lunches.

PRESENTERS:

Rick Bradshaw, PhD, RPsych
Co-Developer of OEI and
Co-author of OEI Client Handbook

Audrey Cook, MPhil RCC
Originator of OEI and Co-Author

SCHEDULE: Saturday July 26 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday July 27 from 9:00 am through 5:00 pm

The seminar takes place in Pacific Standard Time (PST)

Registration is FULL except for those who have pre-registered.

About OEI

OEI is a powerful set of procedures that can be integrated with other forms of treatment including body therapies, neurotherapy, gestalt & enactment, cognitive, couples, play, and art therapy. Trainees should either be psychologists, counsellors, social workers, or psychiatrists; or graduate students in those professions. Others with Certified Trauma Specialist (CTS) designations through the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists (ATSS) are also eligible.
